Saturday Short: Minimalist Contentment

I admire cats.  They need so little to be happy.  My little guy, Brimley, lost the ear off his mouse.  When I asked Lizard Boy if he had seen it, he said he'd thrown it away.  So I patched up "Aristotle II" and sent him back to play with his buddy.

Brimley didn't mind the mis-matched ear.  He didn't mind that there is only one Aristotle, and he doesn't have a matching set.  (Aristotle I disappeared weeks ago and we never did find him).  He also doesn't mind that there are no ornaments on our tree, or that we don't sweep the floor often.  He is happy with a mouse toy and a patch of sun.  And I admire that.
